See-Kan RC&D Project, Inc Micro-Loan Program

This program is designed to help those who want to start a business, expand or enhance an existing  business.  The key to qualifying for this loan is to provide job creation.  The funds can be used for infrastructure improvements, land acquisition, site preparation, building construction or renovation machinery, equipment, lease payments, inventory, payroll, and other working capital items.

The funds for this program were received from a USDA Rural Development  Rural Business Enterprise Grant. (RBEG).

 

Application Process

This program is designed to facilitate individuals getting financial assistance to start a new business or expand an existing business. The applicant will be required to work with their local bank.  The program assists individuals with the needed capital to get the loan. The maximum loan will be 50% of the bank note or $20,000. The length of the loan will be five to seven years.  The application process will start with your  local loan officer  to assist them with making loans to qualifying businesses.  The loan will  be  made  through  your  local bank at the same rate as the rest of the note.   Applications will be located at local banks and at the See-Kan RC&D office.  These applications will be funded on a first come, first serve basis and will be reviewed by a loan committee.
